And with automatic temperature control (125 degrees to 425 degrees), the Nesco Roaster maintains even cooking temperatures. The oval 6 qt capacity cookwell will also accomodate a 7" pie pan, 1 lb loaf pan or 1-1/2 qt casserole dish. Use it to cook chicken, ham, ribs or roast beef, soups, stews and chilis. Seafood, rice or even lasagna and meatloof. Does a great job of baking too so use the Nesco Roaster Oven to make muffins, breads and desserts. The glass lid makes for easy viewing of your meal while it's cooking and keeping the lid on helps to retain moisture. A fully removable cookwell is porcelain enamel coated for ease in cleaning.
