I think this is a good buy. It works out cheaper than the Supermarkets or even boots and will last a good while. In order to enjoy this bargain to the fullest, just ensure that your baby's weight is quite a way below the 11 pound size limit as they may outgrow them before you finish the lot, i.e.if you buy it say for example when they're 9.5\10 pounds.In that case go for size two cause its the same price!

Another good quality nappy from Pampers. The size would fit most newborns from the frail 6 lbs to the bouncing 9 lb +, there is enough elasticity in the material to provide a comfortable yet secure fit. The nappies hold moisture away from the baby very well; proven by the abscence of livid nappy rashes on our baby's soft fragile skin.
Also, the nappies have a colourful design across the front upper waist band - on some nappies this design is embossed with hard scratchy plastic but not so on these nappies - it is more of a soft print in the actual fibres of the nappy itself.
The nappies are very easy to put on, even for a bloke like me, so no excuse for me to do "man things" like DIY or mowing the lawn when its time to change the baby's nappy.
A very good nappy that we have lots of confidence in to do its job well.

Excellent value for money.
Tested 7,6,5,4 days early - nothing. Tested 3 days early - saw the faintest of lines - which on further testing - became darker every day thereafter.
I didn't buy this product because of its early pregnancy detection claim of 10mIU - I bought it because I am inpatient and could not wait until I had a missed period and was fed up with paying a fortune for branded pregnancy tests. Plus I find that when you'r trying for a baby - testing early keeps you going - the time between 'post ovulation until the end of your cycle' drags.
Ok - they aren't as easy to use as the bulky branded ones - but definitely not difficult to use. Initially I was a little confused where the test line actually was - because I too saw a hint of pink underneath the paper part which I would not normally have considered to be part of the test stick - this was on testing 7 days early - which raised my hopes initially - but for me - I don't think it... First of all I want to thank the other women who have reviewed on this product and suggested that they got false negatives, as reading those reviews is what made me take a different test! I had been using these tests (at least 5) from the day my period was due, and all came up negative. When my period was 6 days late and I still had nothing showing on these strips, I came back and re-read the reviews about people trying other tests and getting a positive result. I then took 3 different brands of test (all of which have a sensitivity above 10mIU), all showed a positive result. I can't really complain based on how cheap the tests were, but please do not rely on these tests as a true indicator of whether you are pregnant or not!

I decided to buy these after using the one step ovulation test kit which was fantastic. I got a positive result 11dpo (I was away the two days before that so I'm not sure if I could have gotten an earlier result). I bought clear blue as a back up but never ended up using it.
The line was quite faint on the first day, it slowly got darker but it was about a week and half later before it was as dark as the control line. I took a test each day but couldn't really tell that it was getting darker but I kept the tests and when comparing the test on day 5 I could see it was darker than on day 1.
These tests are great because they are so cheap that you can test every day for weeks. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and just had a scan. Our little bundle is due on 6 December.
There are negative reviews on Amazon for this product and the ovulation kit. For me both products did exactly what they said they would and I can't recommend them highly enough.

This bath thermometer really works well.
Our baby either loves or hates his bath, purely depending on whether the water temperature is right or not.
Unlike many other thermometers, this one digitally displays the temperature, rather than by means of a colour strip. The thermometer refreshes quickly, (about 1 sec) so is good for checking water temperature when mixing. The rubber casing means it is virtually unbreakable and can be left floating in the water whilst bathing.
The design allows the thermometer to sit upright on a shelf or table which means that it can also double as a room thermometer when not being used for bathing.

We have three thermometers at home for our little boy, a Grobag egg, one built into the baby monitor and this Philips one. But it is this Philips one I like the best.
The Philips thermometer consists of a good, no-nonsense easily read LCD display showing the temperature. The display is covered with a little plastic circle - which looks like it could scratch - but ours hasn't despite some real rough handling. This is mounted into a good tough rubber flower -- not too soft and not too hard. We're happy to let our little boy chew away on it now that he's teeting. In fact he quite likes playing with it. It gets dropped and thrown but is still going strong and has not discoloured or anything.
It seems fully waterproof to test the bath temperature (and is handily marked 37C to remind you want the temperature should be). It is also free-standing for use as a room thermometer. We also threw it in our bags for holiday without worry and used it to check the pool... Read more
