Before you can use this product, it has to be charged for around ten hours, so be prepared! Once charged, it has a battery life of around 45 minutes which should be ample time.I have not used a ladyshave for some quite considerable years and this is definitely an improvement from the older, bulkier versions. Plus points: It is very nice to hold and has a good grip so it won't slip. The finish is smooth and from what I have experienced, little chance of nicking the skin. The tilting head is great over areas such as the knees where you tend to get those nicks if not careful. It can be used wet or dry. I tried it dry. Negative points: Long charging time. Had to go over certain areas a few times. I am not sure if this is because I wasn't doing it properly or because the shaver wasn't catching them. I chose this one as I have the older model which I love! I chose this one as it included a bikini trimmer, which was a main feature I looked for, but when it arrived and I checked the box - there is no bikini trimmer with this model!! As razor girl most of my life this was an interesting experiment. Looks the part,comes with a nice little bag and bursh for cleaning. The instructions say wet or dry. It also says to pull the skin taut.Trial 1. In the shower, did the legs well just a couple of stray hairs left behind but I think that was more about technique. Quite hard to pull the skin under the arms taut with one hand but boy did I suffer. Because armpit hair is a bit tougher than fine leg hair the razor was not really doing the trick so I pressed a little harder. I got an awful underam soreness, I think it must have scrapped the top layer of skin and left me red for two days Trial 2. Tried not to press so hard under the arms this time and tried to keep the skin tauter, not as bad. Still a little sore. Legs still okay.
