I found the two supporting reviews on Amazon informative and was the deciding factor on the purchase, compared to other reviews I'd seen on alternative makes/models. Amazon.co.uk offered a decent price, provided the expected excellent delivery service and sound packaging, so well done Amazon. First impressions of the beard trimmer were a solid, well built, tactile, comfortable and well balanced in the hand; a very well designed product. The Trimmer Comb Attachment is adjusted by the well placed thumb wheel; it has a good positive engagement when setting. Previously I had a Braun trimmer which set me back �50, and was useless. It couldn't cope with trimming hair, it instead pulled at it and never once gave an even trim. I supposed that it was my lot, that all trimmers must be the same, but thought that, based on the reviews, I'd try this product for about half the price. It couldn't be better; it trims perfectly without any hint of pulling, catching or hacking, quickly and effectively, at any length. I prefer the shorter lengths, and whereas before I'd have to have a clean shave and start again to get a stubble look, I can now just trim to any length I like in the same time or less as it would take to have a wet shave. I didn't think that this product could be as much of an improvement on my old trimmer as it is, so I recommend that if you have any problems with your current trimmer as described above, then try this! After doing a bit of research I decided on the Remington Professional MB320C and after 3 weeks of regular use I'm very impressed. The comb guard that covers the blade is cleverly designed so that there's no chance of accidentally taking off too much length. After reading reviews of other similar products and seeing people complaining about poor guard design requiring very careful angling and positioning of the trimmer, I was very pleased to find that with the Remington you can just casually hack away with no danger whatsoever of taking too much off and ending up with a patchy beard/patchy stubble.
